GOOD MEMORIAL DAY MORNING…WE HAD
A GRAND TIME IN WORSHIP REMEMBERING THOSE WHO SERVED OUR COUNTRY...I ASKED OUR
FOLK TO NAME THOSE PST AND PRESENT WHO HAVE SERVED OUR COUNTRY…..IT WAS
INTERESTING TO HEAR THE NAMES AND THE PLACES AND BRANCHES IN WHICH FOLK
SERVED. IN THE SERMON I MENTIONED THAT
THERE WERE THOSE AT HOME THAT WORKED TO HELP THE WAR EFFORT ESPECIALLY IN WORLD
WAR II…I MENTION THAT MY GRAND MOTHER WAS A “ROSIE THE RIVETER” AND FOUND THAT MRS. CLAUDIA CLAY WORKED THAT
VERY SAME WAY WHEN SHE WAS IN CALIFORNIA .
I PRAY AS WE FACE CONFLICTS WE WILL SEE PEOPLE STAY BEHIND THOSE WHO ARE
FIGHTING TO KEEP US FREE.
I TRUST YOU ALL WILL HAVE A SAVE MEMORIAL DAY.

JUST FOR A LAUGH….
Two gas company
employees were at a house reading the gas meter. When they were through reading
the meter, one of the men challenged the other to race him back to the truck.
They were running as fast as they could down
the driveway when an elderly woman came out of the house and ran past both of
them.
When they asked her why she ran past them, she
said, "When I saw two men from the gas department running away from my
house like that, I figured I'd better run too."
LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU SUNDAY!!!
GOD BLESS YOU!!
