GOOD MONDAY MORNING IT WAS WONDERFUL TO SHARE HOLY COMMUNION WITH YOU.  I HOPE THAT EACH OF YOU RECALLED THE WONDERFUL THINGS OUR LORD HAS DONE FOR US AS WE GATHERED.  MY REMARKS ARE GOING TO BE SHORT BECAUSE I WANT YOU TO READ THE NOTE FROM COOPER CROCKET.  I GOT THIS EMAIL THIS WEEKEND AFTER I MAILED HIM THE BOXES WITH OUR CHANGE:

Hi Rev. Rousseau!  Yesterday, my mom got a call from our church that there were boxes for me.  I was so surprised to open them up and see all of the change from your churches!!!!!!!!!  My little brothers and me weight the boxes and they weighed 35.6 pounds!  We poured the money on the floor and counted it all by hand.  The total is......$395.65!!!!!!!!!!!  Thank you so much!  I will be sending a thank you card to each of your churches.  It was really nice of you all to help me.  After my collection today I have raised $4455.28.  Thanks to you and your church I am over half way to building my first well in Malawi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Discovering too late that a watermelon fruit punch spiked with vodka had accidentally been served to a luncheon meeting of local Baptist ministers, the restaurant's owner waited nervously for the clerics' reaction.
